- Blessed are those who mourn: they shall be comforted (Mt 5:4)
- Little Snowdrop
The world may never notice If a Snowdrop doesn't bloom,
Or even pause to wonder If the petals fall too soon.
But every life that ever forms
Or ever comes to be,
Touches the world in some small way For all eternity.
The little one we long for Was swiftly here and gone.
But the love that was then planted Is a light that still shines on.
And though our arms are empty, Our hearts know what to do.
Every beating of our hearts Says that we love you.

- O precious tiny, sweet little one
You will always be to me.
So perfect, pure, and innocent
Just as you were meant to be.
We never had the chance to play
To laugh, to rock, to wiggle
We long to hold you, touch you now,
And listen to you giggle.
I'll always be your mother,
He'll always be your dad,
You will always be our child,
The child that we had.
You are our sorrow and our joy.
There's love in every tear.
Just know your love goes deep and strong.
We'll forget you never--
the child we had, but never had
And yet will have forever!
- Psalm 139:13-16
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
- Precious Little One
I'm just a precious little one who didn't make it there.
I went to be with Jesus,
but I'm waiting for you here.
Many dwelling here where I live,
waited years to enter in.
Struggled through a world of sorrow,
a world marred with pain and sin.
Thank you for the life you gave me,
it was brief but, don't complain.
I have all Heaven's Glory,
suffered none of earth's great pain.
Thank you for the name you gave me,
I'd love to bring it fame.
But if I'd lingered in earth's shadows,
I would have suffered just the same.
So sweet family don't you sorrow.
Wipe those tears and chase the gloom.
I went straight to Jesus' arms
from my loving mother's womb.

- Dont Tell Me That You Understand
Don't tell me that you understan, don't tell me that you know
Don't tell me that I will survive, how I will merely grow.
Don't tell me this is just a test, that I am truly blessed
That I'm chosen for the task, apart from all the rest.
Don't come at me with answers that can only come from me.
Don't tell me how my grief will pass, that I will soon be free.
Don't stand in pious judgement of the bonds I must untie.
Don't tell me how to grieve, don't tell me when to cry.
My life is filled with selfishness, my pain is all I see,
But I need you and your love...Unconditionally.
Accept me in my ups and downs, I need someone to share,
Just hold my hand and let me cry, and say "My Friend, I care."
