2009 Healing Hearts Walk to Remember
The 2nd Annual Healing Hearts Walk to Remember was held on October 3rd, 2009 at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, VA. There was a huge turnout of the community, close to 200 people attended, where we both honored Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month and we remembered many babies that we have lost.

We want to give special thanks to our 2009 sponsors:
- WFLS 93.3 FM attended and broadcasted at our Walk
- The new Wegmans in Fredericksburg, VA donated a $50 gift card to buy supplies for the day of the event
- Bloom in Fredericksburg, VA donated bottled water for the walkers
- BJ's in Fredericksburg, VA donated 2 cases of bottled water, a helium tank/balloon kit for 50 balloons and a ton of pastries
- Pohanka of Fredericksburg was kind enough to donate 100 balloons
- Affordable Sanitation provided a portable potty for the day of the event
- Two different Starbucks, in Annandale and Fredericksburg, VA, provided coffee & pastries
- Mary Washington Hospital's Garden of Angels Foundation purchased the big Walk banner
- Dunkin Donuts provided some donuts...the world runs on dunkin :)
- Staples in Stafford was kind enough to print out 400 copies of our walk flyers
- Party HQ in Stafford, VA provided the tables and some paper products
- Turkey Hill for all the yummy ice cream
- Crossroads Vineyard Church donated a helium tank/balloon kit
- Access Eye Centers for making copies of the waiver form
