The LLOST Online Forums

We have created the LLOST Forums as a community of support for those dealing with the loss of a loved one to sudden tragedy. Read more on the history of the LLOST Forums.

The LLOST Forums are broken up into three types: General Grief Support Forums, Personalized Forums, and Forums for In-Person Support Groups.

General Grief Support Forums

The following are various types of general forums offered:

Loss of Loved One - Main Forum - a community of support for all those who have lost a loved one to sudden tragedy
Loss of a Child - created for those who have lost a child, no matter the age, from pregnancy to adulthood
Loss of a Sibling - When Brian died, he left behind 5 siblings; all of who felt and still feel lost without him. We hope this forum will be helpful to others who have unfortunately lost a sibling

Personalized Forums

When we lost Brian Hilliard, we started a private board just for immediate family and friends. To this day, that forum is very active and growing. We would like to offer you the same opportunity by creating a private forum as a place for family and friends to remember your loved one.

We have the ability to manage the permissions of these forums; this means that we can create a private forum for you, only giving permissions to those that you request. By doing this, some people may feel it a more private place where true feelings and private family stories can be shared.

Forums for In-Person Support Groups

LLOST provides support groups who meet in-person the ability to continue communicating in-between meetings by creating private sub-forums in the LLOST Forums. In the future, we will be sending information to local support groups providing this service as part of our Outreach Program.

How to Request a Personalized Forum

At this time, boards are available upon request by contacting us. We offer this service free of charge!
