Grieving Through the Holidays Seminar

The LLOST Foundation hosted the “Grieving Through the Holidays” Seminar at the Westin Alexandria on Sunday, December 6, 2009.
We all know how hard the holidays can be after a loss. This seminar was created to provide useful information and resources for those who are experiencing grief or know someone who is grieving and helps them find ways to cope with it during the holiday season.
Bereavement professional and inspirational guest speaker Wendy Maiwurm shared her knowledge and experiences and imparted effective coping strategies and tips. All supplies needed to make ornaments were provided and everyone seemed to enjoy having the opportunity to make a keepsake to remember their loved one.
